Apart from providing a pleasing alternative to Tarmac and Concrete this product allows free drainage of rainwater back to the subsoils which is of increasing concern to Environment agencies in view of drier weather patterns. It is quick and easy to install and yet is stressed for 100 tonnes per m2 loading such as fully laden fire appliances. The benefits of Ritter grass securing honeycomb have created a worldwide market from Iceland to New Zealand and in 1996 was selected for extensive use at the new Hong Kong Airport adjacent to runways.

Honeycombs

Honeycomb structure offers optimum mechanical stability (loadbearing capacity at least 100 tons per m2, official certification LGA 79202396 + MK 3503513)
Intercellular cross growth of grass roots through close to bottom holes in cell partitions.

Bottom holes for efficient water drainage, sod aeration and nutrient supply
No upthrow or displacement - even at large temperature variations - open ended border cells provide for thermal expansion gaps between adjacent honeycomb elements.

Weather resistant HP-PE (high pressure polyethylene) material, stabilized against UV radiation.

Firm anti-slippage ground interlock by ground pins.

NOTE: Application of Ritter Grass Securing Honeycombs on paths and driveways with more than 5% slope is not recomended
